So this location needs some help or at least the employee that is working does. We stopped in at this location and bought two drinks. She did not even attempt to come to the window she was too busy counting money from tips or something. She just spoke to us like we were on the other side of the glass like a prison visit. I had a old punch card that I have had in my truck from October 2018. I don’t drive my personal vehicle very often but that’s what I had in my truck, so I thought we would treat ourselves to something free.The drink card had one free drink on it. I gave it to the barista, she then told me how they would not honor it because it was an OLD punch card. She then told me that she would knock .50 cents off of the $9.50 + or - bill, I said thank you anyways. After I paid, I put $2.00 dollars in the tip jar. Not even a thank you from her! Don’t know if this employee has ever heard of service recovery for a loyal customer? To top the not so excellent service, the one drink was made way wrong!! I could see how the employee could get this wrong because she did not come to the window to listen in on what we ordered.
Math for thought 10 drinks @ $4.75 = $47.50 Plus at least $1.00 pre visit for tip Total $57.50 spent for $.50 sent savings .. must not be doing so well...
Read moreThey burn the coffee every time I stop by. They used to be a lot better. Now since it's burnt, it's really bitter, sharp taste to it. Some baristas are nice, but one lady with a tattoo up the outer side of the right arm always has attitude. I thought it was her having a bad day, but after 5 different times, I think she's just not cut out for customer service. (I've been in customer service, trained people for years before and know you should at least smile, greet, and send them off nicely). I probably won't go to Florence coffee for a few months and see if they fix the burnt coffee issue. Too bad because they are within 3 minutes of where I live and now will drive an extra 10 minutes to get downtown to buy coffee at a different place (really, any other place in town doesn't burn the coffee). Another review states that they delete the reviews and the management replied that they can't do that. Actually, businesses can get a review removed. I have seen it on the business side. AND THIS PLACE REMOVED MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. This place has been around for years and I highly dout that it's only had under 20 reviews in it's whole time. I went there this morning (for the millionth time), bags under my eyes, in the grumpiest mood, and the barista had such a positive attitude that I changed my tune before I even got my coffee.
