The Waterfront Rescue Mission thrift shop on Cottage Hill is such a unique shop filled with treasures large and small. The ladies that work in the front are very helpful, hard working and kind, as well as those helping to unload donations in the rear! It’s a joy to donate and shop to help support this great mission.

One of the coolest things about this shop is the organization. They usually group related items together in a way that appears like a home; such as pieces pulled together to create a living room, bedroom, dining room, etc. they even place nice China sets on the tables!

I love how these ladies have made this thrift shop something special and unique; sets it apart from the rest and helps raise much needed money for the mission. 💕🙏 The Christian music is always a reminder of their mission and goals.

I visited this thrift store on yesterday as I wondered around a new city. Recently transferred here by my company and happen to stubble across this GEM in the city. This thrift store has a true variety an old town classic charm and was also impeccably clean, well organized and each section was inviting. There were no scary unmanaged isles in this store. The selection is also worthy over most others. Very clean as I shopped there was a guy working hard stocking and cleaning he was also engaged in customer assistance as he stocked. There was two ladies tackling a project together making sure everything was well placed. I have confidence this is not junk. My visit was Tuesday, January 18 around the afternoon 2022. Okay, I don't know what everyone is talking about but I stopped by today and everything is clearly marked. I was there for about 1.5 hours and scored some awesome deals - Loft, Ann Taylor, and Talbots for a great price. The most expensive was a brand new shirt from Talbots for $13.00 - BTW I look awesome in it. My final tally was $50 for 2 pairs of shorts, 1 sweater, 1 sleeveless top and 2 blouses and that includes a pair or foster grant sun glasses I grabbedat the register. You gotta know your brands. Yellow tags were 50% off which I did not have any. Stop by and be prepared to spend some time....
