Think twice before wasting your time here. We 2 moms walked in with 4 extremely well mannered girls. A woman named Lisa immediately started barking out to the girls. What sizes do you wear? THEN they started talking about pricing as if to phase us out before we bothered our time looking at their dresses and may not be able to afford it. I found this extremely disconcerting seeing the state of the establishment. Two of their awnings walking into the building are full of black mold that they don’t even take half a day off to power wash. You walk into the bathroom. It looks like you’re in the 1980s! There’s obviously air running through the supply line which is a five dollar replacement and sounds like hell when you flush it. A two minute replacement of the line between the toilet and wall. My friend and I were sitting at “I Do” with 2 different moms and one had the same experience and the other couldn’t get the front door opened and thought you were closed. We actually thought the same problem and it took three people to get your front door open so you might want to get that lock checked as well perhaps maybe a can of WD-40. You may also want to tell the three girls standing in the front as they see someone struggling to open the door. They should go help them. I visited Putting on the Ritz Wednesday January 11, 2023. My friend and I were looking for Mardi Gras gowns and this was our first stop. When we arrived there was a few cars in the parking lot and the lights were on so we went to the front door and could not get it open. We pushed several times, and decided it must be locked because the door didn't budge. After about 5 minutes of trying to get in a lady finally walks over to the door and rips it open forcefully. She immediately grabbed the door handle from the outside and with the worst attitude says, "It's open" while condescendingly showing us how to open the door.... No greeting or smile just the face of a constipated rhino. After that awful exchange we walk into the store and the woman just stands there and looks us up and down and says, "what do you want?" Once again, no smile or friendly demeanor. I tell her we are shopping for ball gowns and she immediately says, "Well we are a junior store so we start at junior sizes and our prices are 300-1200." The way she told us this information was so rude and disgusting that I felt so out of place. She was judging us and made us feel completely uncomfortable, enough so that I refused to spend my money there so we just left. We were both shocked at the complete lack of customer service within that establishment and I can tell you that I will never go back. I wanted to take a quick peek to see what they had to offer and did not want to unlaod my stroller so i held my 8 month old son in my arms. Instead of being greeted with a hello at the door I was asked if I had someone with me to watch my son. I said no I did not. She then tells me children aren't allowed in the dressing area I would need to leave him in the front. #1 he's 8 months old!!#2 I will not be leaving my child anywhere I can't see him!
