Food Lion — Local services in Monroe

I’m giving it 3 stars because I usually come here and have no problems but this morning I came in and I checked my stuff out with Dina. She was being very rude and Disrespectful to me. I was literally just trying to help a girl out and so I put a case of coke on the counter so the barcode would be facing up and all she would have to do is scan it and then she rudely said to me “you can’t put heavy stuff on the counter” so I said okay??? So I put it back in my buggy and then when it came time for her to scan it, I told her i had 3 cases in total and also a case of waters (which was right beside the coke she scanned. No joke)so then after she rang me up she said, “oh well I didn’t get the cokes on the bottom” when I literally told her in the beginning. and then even after we did a second transaction so she could ring up the 2 other cases, she says she didn’t get the water either. So overall she wanted to give me attitude because I was just trying to help her out and then she didn’t even do her job right. Manager- either fire her or teach her how to do...

This morning I filed a complaint with Corporate Food Lion. I am a Frequent shopper at your 250 MLK BLVD Monroe location and, I usually stop by there after work. I am a Doctor with Atrium. My issue is concerning a Deli Manager that works at your location. Her name is Ayesha and she has been extremely Rude and has been Disrepectful and Discourteous every time I have came over to the Deli section. Ayesha is supposed to be exemplifying excellent customer service and she is supposed to serve as a Role Model to the staff under her and she is not doing that. I frequent this store often, and I have to say that in the past couple of months alot of things have changed (and only getting worst). Im not sure if it's management not ordering the correct amount of products or not enough workers to stock shelves..I used to love this new food lion, they carry lots of things that the older ones do not I feel like lots of the things are old on shelves, and are not being properly cleaned out and disposed of including meats, breads and especially vegetables. It seems everything is either gone these days, and not reordered or so rotten it that it should just be thrown out. Please fix this Food Lion! Y'all are...
