Ouachita Parish Health Unit — Local services in Monroe

Only facility I've seen that will leave unopened iv needles right there on the counter with their alcohol swabs. so what do I do I put my pilfering three year old into the changing station because I don't want her getting ahold of those.

Also noticed they do other test and the swabs and stuff for test are preset out for easy reach but the problem this poses is those vials and swabs are now contaminated. (Because we'll people are curious just like me n are gonna look at them)

The nurse Jessica (I believe) was ok. Until she made me hold my daughter down for shots. I've yet to have to hold her down and this lady wasn't very kid friendly to me. And when I presented my concern to her about the IV needs she didn't seem to care at all which was really upsetting.

If at all possible we won't be back. Y'all seem clean. But you don't take precautions...
