I will NEVER shop here again. I went two days ago and bought 125 dollars worth of stuff. Upon getting home, I’m putting my things up and notice there is a hole in the bottom on my bread, then I had also bought I believe “food club” brand pizza dough. Oh my god! Made two pizzas and the crust was DISGUSTING! they both of them in the trash. My whole family was disappointed! Then on to the THIRD disappointment, I bought a red velvet cake is was 14 or 15 dollars. It’s mine and my oldest sons favorite. I gave my son a piece who comes back and says something is wrong with the cake! So I got myself some! When I tell you that this cake taste like what I’d imagine mold would taste like! I’m about to vomit thinking about it. And the smell! Oh my lord it stinks so bad! Checked the expiration and it says 9/14/21 so according to the label it’s not expired. I will never be back to...

Lucky's has been in Montevallo for many years. The prices are what you would expect for a small town with little competition. Lucky's post their ads on their website and facebook, but questions / comments are never addressed or answered. Watch your receipt, I have personally noted mistakes at least 90% of the time, always in Lucky's favor. UPDATE- Over ring on 2 items in Lucky's favor, I spent around $80 dollars and there is always a mistake. The African-American man wearing a wedding band sacking my groceries did not speak to me or acknowledge my question. Went into the store to pick up a few Gro n a couple nice Ribeyes . Went to meat dept n looked in the display case found several porterhouse ribeyes already cut sealed prepared to be sold for $21+ a piece but dept was closed .so I walked back to the front n found the manager on duty n politely asked if someone would retrieve a couple steaks out of the display case for me n He quickly said that the meat dept is closed n no he can't again I asked n said they are on display to be sold n again a more angry voice he said I said no their closed n I'm not doing it.
