Where to start?! Jaron and I have known Caitlin for a LONG time. I have loved her work for quite awhile and had nearly begged my husband to have Caitlin help him update my wedding set.

Caitlin and I had talked periodically over the last 2 years about updating my wedding set, but neither Jaron or I had pulled the trigger. I didn't know what I wanted and Jaron wasn't exactly on board with updating my ring.

For Christmas Jaron gifted me with a consult with Caitlin and I was thrilled. Neither of us knew for sure what we wanted and we had different style opinions and our budget. We met with Caitlin and she immediately went to work asking what I loved about my current ring. After a lengthy conversation we agreed we couldn't take apart my wedding set and reset it. It is just too special and has so much sentimental value.

We began to talk about what I liked; cuts, ring styles and carat sizes that we thought we wanted. We had an insane amount of questions and Caitlin answered every one with ease and a passion for her profession that is so appreciated.

Caitlin let me try on many different magnetic sets to mix and match to get an idea of what I liked. We settled on one set and an approximate carat cut and size.

While Caitlin went to work getting diamonds in, I was struggling with the thought of someone else potentially having a ring that looked like mine. I truly wanted something special that no one else had. I wanted something designed JUST for me or something only I would have. I didn't actually express this to Caitlin, but I'm certain she knew that's what I was asking even though I never said it directly.

Caitlin got in some AMAZING diamonds at unbelievable prices along with 2 art deco rings that she thought we might like. She sent me a video and pictures of one of the art deco rings, DROOLING over this ABSOLUTELY STUNNING ring. I knew it was THE ONE.

We came to see the diamonds and rings in person and they were ALL stunning and perfect in their own way. Caitlin absolutely knocked it out of the park!! The options were endless and each diamond just as beautiful as the next. Then we saw THE ONE and it was just as beautiful in person as it was in the video and pictures. After lots of thought, questions and my husband's encouragement we chose a 1920s art deco ring that is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I cannot imagine another ring more beautiful!!

Caitlin sized my grandmother's ring to go with my new engagement ring and it makes for a show-stopping pair!

If you are overthinking seeing Caitlin as a private jeweler, DON'T!! She is phenomenal in her work! It was so wonderful to have someone sit and really walk through everything with us and to have that truly personal experience. While we chose something COMPLETELY unexpected and different than what we thought, we all are SO EXCITED! I never imagined having something so timeless and beautiful. And it comes with years of history, beauty and love by adding in my grandmother's ring.

I knew within 5 minutes of chatting with Caitlin that I wanted to work with her. Her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for her work is infectious. By some bit of fate I stumbled upon her business as we were passing through Monticello and I spotted her beautiful shop. I had a project to celebrate a personal milestone sitting in the back of my mind and I decided to reach out to see if she would be able to help me accomplish it. Even though the holiday season was full in swing and her schedule was surely booked solid she was wonderful and responsive as we mapped out together the scope of the project (which ended up expanding from a stock setting of sorts to a fully custom setting). My primary passion is antique jewelry but I wanted to make a modern ring with a modern cut stone. I had a fairly defined vision of the ring I wanted to make and Caitlin was a wonderful support adding her expertise and guidance through the process. Caitlin was able to source the center stone quickly and it was just what I was after.
