Dollar Fresh Market — Local services in Monticello

It saddened me some, but I have to change my review. I got my groceries, and I headed to the self Checkout, and every one of them claimed that they no longer offer that option. So I went to stand in line behind several people. Which angered me some. Then, an employee said, "I can help you over here." So I proceeded to that checkout, and she scanned my groceries. I asked her about the self checkout. She volunteered that corporate made a decision to get rid of self checkouts because they believe that monticello, iowa, has too many thieves. I recently became a plus member perks for this place, but I will no longer be paying for that. Every place that I go to that I can self check out, I do. They've just trained me to do that and to like it, so I do it. I mean, after all, they do offer cameras right in front of you at the register., and they have cameras all over the store to see if people are supposedly cheating the system. For that matter, they could have had employees stand there and watch people scan their items, but they chose to get rid of self check out. I'll just go to the other store. It's too bad that they decided the whole town. Are thieves, instead of finding the thieves themselves and prosecuting them.. I'll be sure to let everyone know what...

Shopping experience was wonderful! However we were attempting to clean up our car, and while we were getting ready to pick up our napkins off the street to throw them away, an employee, with short grayish blonde hair came out yelling at us that we needed to clean it up, while we were in the middle of cleaning it up. Both my husband and I found this to be rude and disrespectful. If this is the way employees are allowed to treat customers, this is not a great place to shop at! I think we’re going to continue shopping at Fareway, at least there we aren’t treated with aggression the low prices just aren’t...

I would like to thank Aiden and the Manger on duty which I didn't catch the name but they both went out of there way today the didn't have the formula coming in on there truck today that I needed so they called other dollar fresh to see if they had it In stock they found one that did they one of there employees went and picked it up and brought it back to the monticello dollar fresh...
