Soulshine Vintage — Local services in Monticello

My soul did not shine at SoulShine. Buyer Beware: I purchased an item not realizing it was the wrong size. They do not post that they only do a store credit/exchange that I was made aware of when making the purchase. Sales person stated that it is posted by the dressing room. I was taken by surprise. I offered suggestion to post it by cash register. I did not see it as I was not in dressing room area. Am I upset? Absolutely. Spoke to the owner and suggested it. The owner stated that they have been taken advantage of so that is why they have a store credit or exchange only. I let her know that I was not interested in a store credit since I do not like her deceptive business practices. I will not purchase from any of her stores in town. This store is absolutely AMAZING!! The ladies are really nice and the prices are reasonable. I love the one of a kind type things and they have intimates in the back. I can't wait to go back!! I bought 2 pillows, a beautiful blanket, graphic tee and a wall tapestry. I freakin love this store! If you like boho chic hippie type stuff, this is the store for you!! Soulshine Vintage is absolutely adorable! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine friendliness and warmth. The vibe is so inviting, and the clothing selection is thoughtfully curated—tons of cute, stylish pieces at fair prices. You can really tell the owner puts care into what’s on the racks.
