Honestly I thought the store was kind of cool. I let the gentleman know I’m into modern baseball anything 2020 and above. He proceeded to give me cards from the 1970s. I found a Schmitt that I liked he wanted 5$ for the card which was 5 times over market value. All recent listings sold for 1-2$ he goes by a Beckett book from a long time ago making everything outdated. He did come down on the price from $5 to $2 still lost money on it. After I handed him the money he basically laughed at it because it was only $2s by far the most unprofessional and arrogant and rude. Trust the 1 star reviews and avoid this shop at all costs.

Just know if you go here you will be basically paying 5x over market value. So just avoid it all together

Do not waste your money or time. Offered me 10 dollars for a rookie Emmit Smith, rookie Derek Jeter, 2 rookie Chipper Jones cards, Rookie Brett Favre, plus another card he wanted to buy. 6 CARDS TOTAL AND 5 ROOKIE CARDS. HE OFFERED ME 10 bucks for all of them. And charged me 30 dollars to look at my cards. Not to mention he Barley even looked at my collection. He said he charged me 30 dollars because it would take time to look through all my books but some books he just glanced at and said “ there’s nothing good in here” and he missed half of the good cards. Was rude the whole time. Biggest scammer around. Had a lot of stuff in his shop IF YOU WANT TO BUY SOMETHING but DO NOT BRING ANYTHING TO SELL he...

Got mixed opinions of this place. A lot of cards and merchandise. The quality of which varies. There isnt a doubt in my mind the this individual knows his stuff which is why he requires a $20 fee and rarely purchases cards.

That isnt to say he isnt interested in yours hr just isnt about to give you money for them. The shirts and such are his way of providing you with "value" in exchange for cards he is likely going to make a killing off of. If you dont know much about sports cards (such as me) you are a prime target. The appraisal wasnt much of an appraisal tbh. He took 3 of my cards gave the rest back and i got a t-shirt and a handful of cards that were good for a small camp fire in exchange for me...
