We live in Tinton Falls in Monmouth County, and we are a very happy Blue Nail client!

In September 2020, we ordered all new Andersen Windows for our entire house through a local contractor (not Blue Nail). Unfortunately, after the windows came in, that contractor wasn’t do the job, and the local windows reseller couldn’t recommend an alternate. We thought we were really stuck, but we knew someone who used Blue Nail previously, and they recommended them highly. Here’s what sets them apart.

The owner, John Hogan, leverages technology as it should be used. He video-recorded his contract proposal for online review at our convenience. After agreeing to terms, all parties digitally signed the contract, he e-mailed us a copy of it, and posted it in a secure online location for our later reference. With other companies - we’ve dealt with bare bones agreements or POs without a lot detail. But John Hogan found a better way to work with his customers, and his use of technology was only the beginning. He also uses a project management-based and team-driven model, with customer satisfaction as its focus.

For example, in the windows removal phase, all internal surfaces were covered thoroughly to minimize dust and damage, etc. The team arrived on time and ready to work. Our Lead Foreman, Alex, inspected all aspects of the job, and advised the team on how best to get some trickier parts done. [The internal plantation shutters needed to be retrofitted, and Alex determined the optimal way to do it, so they fit perfectly.]

For the day-to-day aspects when he couldn’t be there, Alex assigned one of his team members as our point person - he asked them to show with us how something would be done (to ensure it was to our liking), and then to check in with us again when it was completed. Afterwards, Alex inspected everything, so adjustments could be made, as needed. Additionally, photos were taken to document and confirm overall progress.

As a result, both throughout our installation and since its completion, friends and neighbors have stopped by and commented about how nice our new windows look, and how impressed they are with the job that Blue Nail did. We couldn’t...

The Blue Nail team recently installed all new Pella windows and did a deck rebuild at my home. From start to finish, their service was impeccable, and the results have exceeded my expectations in every way.

They were mindful of my schedule and worked efficiently to complete the rebuild within the promised timeframe. Any minor issues that arose were promptly addressed, and their dedication to customer satisfaction was clear.

This review is long overdue, but I figured better late than never!

To sum up my experience with blue nail in one short sentence; Exceptional customer service, reliable work! stumbled upon blue nail while we were searching for immediate repair of a leak in our roof. From the get-go, my husband and I were both impressed by Todd’s professionalism and how he thoroughly explained their diagnosis and recommended solutions. We ended up redoing 2/3 of the roof and some siding work (house is very old).. during the the time the roofing/siding hub was being carried out, a tree fell over our garage and completely destroyed the roof and siding.. we didn’t think twice before entrusting blue nail with that work as well.. but here’s the reason I rated my experience 12/10! Todd delivered superior customer service! He was truly exceptional when it comes to helping us with request from the insurance company.. when the insurance company tried to lowball us on how much they would cover, Todd was prompt in providing any requested documents we needed and, at our request, went as far as getting on 3 way call with the adjuster and explained the level of damage and how much work was needed.. he was always available when we had questions and even agreed to submit itemized estimate as requested by insurance just to keek the ball rolling.. I feel like he could have easily said “this is too much” and walked away but he worked with us and made us feel like valued partner.. To me this level of commitment to delivering great customer experience is priceless! It is the very reason why I would turn to blue nail for any future work without question.
