By far the worst experience I've ever had at a store to date. Be sure to have proof of anything you take here to get repaired. I brought a dainty Gold necklace here for a simple link repair. Watched it got put it in a little envelope and my name written on it.
Got called to pick it up January 19th, 2022 but when I arrived I was shown someone else's necklace with my pendant on it. After I refused to take the necklace from the lady, she went around back and supposedly called wherever my necklace was sent to for the repair then came back with some explanation which made no sense.
Anyway, I went home waited for a call that never came so I ended up calling Jan 25th and was told that the alleged person that got my necklace is saying it's theirs. I was then offered a replacement for something better. So, I suppose if they gave your family heirloom to another customer they'd offer to replace it with something better too. Luckily my necklace wasn't an heirloom but that's besides the point.
I was so upset so my husband and even sent pictures of my necklace and the receipt from the time he bought it, but that wasn't enough. It's not until he mentioned that I have a piece of the link that any true interest was shown to resolve the situation. We drove to the store just to show the link.
Within less than 24 hours, this alleged customer supposedly returned the stolen necklace and they contacted my husband, apologized to him, and told him once again we can pick it up. No one took responsibility for mistakenly giving my necklace to another customer. Why wasn't an arrangement made for both parties to be there at the same time, run security footage, anything to find out who was lying because both parties couldn't be right in this instance?
I finally got the necklace back though not without jumping through a lot of hurdles. Was told it was free of charge but since it was now botched, I'll have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed properly. You can see A B and C in photos that Google featured as their photos.
When I picked it up, I found out the repair was actually done instore and not elsewhere like I was led to believe. I suspect foul play, but as I have no proof, and can only go off all the events that snowballed this mess, I'll end it here because "God sees all...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I've ever had at a jewelry store. I took a watch and to get a battery and after they put the battery in they told me they couldn't get the back on. So they sent it out to another jeweler and when it came back the time wasn't right with the back on. They said the battery was large and they'd have to glue it down somehow so they could put the back on. They called me and said it was ready last week. When I stopped to pick it up they wanted to charge me for sending it out to another jeweler. I refuse to pay the extra charge because they couldn't do their job. This whole process started 3 weeks ago - just to get a battery in the watch. We are taking it to another jeweler to see if the right size battery is even in the watch. And the watch is not keeping any time at all. The owner called me and was absolutely nasty and yelling at me. I finally hung up on her and she kept trying to call back. I had to...
Read moreMy wife and I were given my mother and father’s wedding rings (they were married over 50 years) but we needed them sized. We went to stenstrom jewelry and a woman named Eve was very nice and understanding about the importance and history of these rings. When they were returned to us not only were they sized but they were restored to look as good as new. I am confident they will survive another 50 years thanks to Eve and Stenstrom...
