Main Street Play Cafe — Local services in Morton

Been here a couple times at this point and here’s my conclusion. Very cute and very fun however. Unless youre a parent who wants to sit up front and let your kid run wild and unsupervised, i would try to come when it is not busy. No parents or kids respect the centers and everything is thrown everywhere. like it’s cool you have this kitchen but there’s nothing in it because this to-big-to-be- here 10 year old who’s mom isn’t paying attention, used all the groceries like hand grenades throwing them at people. It’s not hard to watch your children and direct them to leave a center even PARTIALLY intact for the respectful kid coming in behind them. You’d think the worker present would keep up with the centers and keeping a fun place to make a new mess but no, the one lady i’ve seen my few visits here, treats this as a social hour. She’s either talking to parents—whom aren’t paying attention to their children—- or she’s on her phone. It’s a cute concept, we love when it’s slow and considerate parents are here, but if it stays the way it is i give this place less...

This place is amazing! Such a creative, cute, fun little spot to take the kids. Sure it can get unorganized with misplaced toys as anywhere else but that’s part of playing and being a kid. The owner and staff were so kind and moving non stop to keep the fun going. They were resetting the stations and always cleaning an empty area for the next kiddo. (Even during the busy times). Great place to meet for a play date or school field trips for the littles! Set up is perfect. This is a 10/10 for families with littles (honestly 0-12+ years old)! The space itself is perfect- it’s small enough you can feel comfortable letting your children run freely but large enough that they have space to play and explore. Comfy chairs everywhere for parents and caregivers to watch from many places. The craftsmanship and thought that has gone into building each play area is spot on— attention to detail truly makes each play scape feel real as though the children are running that particular business.
