Captain Dave's — Local services in Moulton

The food here is consistently good. The service can be 50/50 depending on your waitress but they are friendly none the less. The restaurant has needed an update for a long while but the food honestly does excuse the tired surroundings. We've tried many things off the menu, personally the chicken tacos are bomb for me (substitute the chips for fries), and it's all good. The pricing is really great as well for the quality of food. To be honest we can spend a similar amount at McDonald's and let me tell you the food here is a million times better for the price. Probably the best food Moulton...

6-24-25...Better tasting food than the other two steakhouse in Moulton. We have had, the burger, hamburger steak, shrimp, bang bang shrimp, and catfish plate. They were all better than the other places and the food has always been hot. The decor isnt fancy and new but it's nice and comfortable and the people are nice too.... it is definitely a gem that the locals go to. Also, lunch is cheaper by a dollar or two but when you go to supper it's actually more food unlike the other two steakhouses in moulton..... if you got 8- 12 bucks and want better food, go...

First time eating here... not Happy what so ever! It took forever for us to even get menus. Granted the waitress was new. Not blaming her, they were busy. She took our order and it took 30 minutes to get our food. By the time that we got our food it was cold. Fish tasted awful, shrimp tacos barely edible, salsa tasted like marinara sauce, & everything that was fried tasted like their grease was a month old and needed changed badly.
