Danger Zone Video (Awesome name) is an absolute gem of a video store, located in Mt. Juliet, TN. I stopped by today to pick up some VHS tapes as a new collector, and I honestly didn’t expect to be transported back in time the way I was.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped straight into the golden era of video store. It felt like the late 90s to early 2000s, when you could spend hours just walking the aisles, checking out cover art.

The selection here is insane in the best way. A great selection of VHS tapes, DVDs, Blu-rays, and collectibles, many of which you’d have a hard time finding anywhere else.

Whether you’re a serious collector or just someone chasing that nostalgic rush of seeing those old clamshell cases and classic horror titles, this place delivers. I found some tapes I hadn’t seen since I was a kid, and it honestly made my whole week. It is a must visit location.

But what really makes Danger Zone Video special is Jesse, the owner. He is the real deal. He’s not just running a business, he’s preserving a culture and curating a one-of-a-kind experience for us movie lovers.

Jesse was super welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about all things films and physical media. He values customer service. You can tell he puts a lot of heart into the store and it shows in every inch of the space.

This place isn’t just a store, it’s a tribute to a time when movie nights meant something more. When the hunt for the perfect flick was half the fun. If you grew up during the heyday of Blockbuster and mom-and-pop video shops, you owe it to yourself to visit Danger Zone Video. Even if you're not into VHS and Nostalgic physical media, it’s still worth a stop just to experience the vibe, chat with Jesse, and maybe find a cool movie you didn’t know you needed.

Great place to find the old movies that you can't find anymore. Takes me back to when I was much younger. You really should check this place out , you will not be disappointed. Here's an update, The new store is a lot bigger and they have a lot more things I love it It looks so nice in there. And very happy for the owners that they were able to get a larger store.
