I have only been in three times, and each time it an awful experience. Overall, the customer service was horrible, the professionalism lacking, and I could easily gauge that no one wanted to be working due to lack of assistance when asked for help. I dislike giving negative reviews, but I really think it is important that higher management/corporate should recognize the behavior and demeanor that exists at this specific location. Just to give two specific examples: Last visit I asked the pharmacist for a suggestion on an otc medicine - (before I asked the two there were talking a making jokes and trying to not recognize me as I patiently waited at the counter) The male pharmacist straight out told me nothing they have that will work and that my husband had to just "deal with whatever he has". This was my tipping point which made me want to write a public review. The second time I was in was around the holidays to print photo cards. It was not busy and the 3 female associates in the front were gossiping loud about some very personal matters. After having to interrupt their conversation to ask for help, they said the photo person wasn't there to help me. When I went to gather my things out of frustration, they continued to gossip loudly as I walked out - no apologies or goodbyes. I will not be returning and hope the staff at this location gets proper training and supervision going forward! The first time I tried to use it, the cashier told me it was already redeemed. So I called CVS extracare bucks and they sent me a different extracare bucks printout. I head over to use it, and there's a problem. Manager comes up and right in front of me said, "looks like it's been copied." Referring to the printout I've been using. My printer was running out of two colors of ink, however the barcode was perfect because it was bright black. Why would you sit there and infer I am trying to do something illegitimate? I responded by telling her I have all the correspondence from CVS extracare bucks to prove it wasn't a copy. I asked the manager for her name and told her I was writing a complaint. I’m very disappointed with the customer service at the CVS Pharmacy. Every time I’ve visited, the pharmacy staff has been consistently rude and unhelpful. I understand that pharmacies can be busy, but that doesn’t excuse the dismissive and unfriendly attitude I’ve experienced behind the pharmacy desk.
As a customer, I expect clear communication, patience, and basic courtesy—especially when dealing with something as important as medication. Unfortunately, this location has fallen short of that standard multiple times.
