B J Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Mount Olive

This is classic old school deli in many regards. So much caught my attention. Firstly, the friendly greeting by whom I'll assume is the husband. Automatically makes you feel comfortable with his demeanor, asking me if I wanted breakfast or lunch. Then upon ordering, the lady, I'll assume the wife, immediately starts preparing my sandwich. I step outside to attend to my dog whilst the sang is being made. Came back in with the sang wrapped and bagged. Left and opened the sang at the park. Instantly noticed how the sang was expertly put together, I mean, it was perfect! Layered and bountiful. The whole experience worth a 5 star rating. Old school Asian couple may as well have been Mario and Filomena Italiano. ...

Amazing, I passed this little place for 17 years not knowing if it was open. I went there today. Delicious sandwiches, top grade Cold Cuts Like Boar's Head.... generous portions. They've got a location that's good and bad .... they're right on Budd Lake offering a great view of the lake .... the bed thing..... if you're traveling west on Route 46..... is that you might drive right by them, for years, like I did. Best sandwich shop! Taste was on another level! Not sure if they make their own meats in house but it tasted so seasoned and fresh. Even the veggies on top smelled sooo fresh. Most deli shops you need to ASK for double meat but at this shop it’s the perfect amount! I’d recommend to anyone in NJ, not just the area! They don’t take credit tho but wouldn’t knock a star...
