The wait time was atrocious between when we got seated as a party of 3 and when we finally got our meal-1 hour almost. On top of that, we did not receive the appetizer we had ordered as apparently the ticket got lost in the shift change, so we had yo cancel that. Finally, when the actual meal came, there were problems with every single meal that we had our waitress address- after having another long wait for her to come back around. I had received the wrong side and an undercooked burger, while another at the table had a burger that was red and still cold in some areas and the last person at the table got a steak that was only slightly undercooked. Our waitress tried to say that the food was just as we asked for, but after looking it up to be sure, our meals were indeed undercooked by a good amount, a medium being instead between rare and medium rare and a medium well being entirely red on the inside. I only come back home to Wayne County at most once a year to visit my mother between Seven Springs and Mt. Olive so every second is precious. So we decided to come try out Ribeye's for the very first time on Sept 11, 2015. We were promptly greeted by young gentleman who showed us immediately to our table without a reservation. Our waitress was almost instantly at our table to take our drink order. The menu is simple and while there are daily items that are practically priced, we were there for the special occasion priced steaks. The six ounce ribeye was $19.95 and I got mine with the seasoned veggies and it was very good. And fast. The unlimited salad bar really seals the deal. But there were plenty of other entees, chicken, burgers, etc that make this a great place even on a budget. This restaurant is listed on restaurant.com. Luckily I called to confirm if they are in the program so that I don’t drive needlessly for 45 minutes. The receptionist answered the phone and did not know if they participated in the restaurant.com discount program. She asked her manager and was told they don’t participate. This restaurant is intentionally leaving their name on the restaurant.com website and not removing it in order to take advantage of free advertising by being listed on restaurant.com while not accepting the discount. People come here with the understanding they will get a discount but when they get the check they are told they don’t participate with the program and will not honor the discount. This is disgraceful and if this restaurant had any morals would remove themselves from restaurant.com and stop deceiving customers.
