Court Days — Local services in Mount Sterling

Court Days is always a good time. The crowds can be a little much for folks with claustrophobia but there are several areas to step aside to get a break. There is a reasonable amount of overlap in vendors so if you don't find the tool, t-shirt, pair of sneakers, ect that you want, just keep walking and you'll find another spot that sells what you're looking for. Tons of food vendors so you won't go hungry. Just remember to come ready to spend some money. We got a plate of homemade chips with ranch plus a huge gyro sandwich and it ran close to $30. That was without a drink. My only real compliant is the low wifi signal strength. Many vendors couldn't use their card reading devices because the signal was so low that their devices were so slow they were useless. We had to pass on a few purchases because there was no card option once we ran out of cash (and didn't want the high withdrawal fees for...

The food and items were extremely overpriced. Guns were through the roof and marked up $50 to $100 more than retail prices. Some places were charging $20 for a simple food item. It felt as though there were a lot less vendors this year than previous years as well. Too many people selling items that looked like they pilfered from some other place. It really didn't feel like a good event to go to even though there were a lot of people walking around. Court day felt like a place to go to in order to find a good deal. Now it feels like the opposite. Vendors also seem incredibly reluctant to buy anything and just want to sell off...

So disappointed in Court Days. We arrived on Friday evening at 7p and the entire place was already closed =( We came back on Saturday (2hr drive) and everything was ethnic or vapor related .. not much crafting stuff... WAY WAY too many people carelessly smoking .. was almost burned a few times and then to find out there is only 2 .. yes a total of 2 porta potties for the entire Court Days. Whose genius idea was that? We had to walk all over the place to get to the porta potty and then wait in line .. THANKS!
