Ace Hardware — Local services in Mount Vernon

I can't say enough good things about the service we received at Ace Hardware in Mt. Vernon, GA, specifically from two amazing employees, Walt and Lovie. We travel full-time in our Skoolie and stopped by to work on some complex plumbing issues. If you've ever tackled plumbing, especially converting everything to 1/2 inch PEX, you know it can be a daunting task with countless adapters and connectors.

Walt and Lovie went above and beyond, spending multiple days helping me piece everything together. We were working with 3/4 PEX, 1/2 inch PEX, and all kinds of connectors for our water tank, pump, accumulator, hot water heater, fill port, and more. These two took the time to understand exactly what we needed, explaining each step, and making sure we had every piece necessary for a smooth installation.

What stood out even more was their overall dedication to every customer. While I was there, I watched them assist several others—from helping customers find specific items to patiently listening to an elderly woman who needed support after the recent hurricane. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine desire to help people makes this store a shining example of top-notch customer service.
