Baxter County Fair Grounds — Local services in Mountain Home

We had a Gun Show here with G&S Promotions Stephanie puts on a great show. Good crowd of buyers too. The facility was perfect, well designed for such an event. The staff were helpful too, if you have a large event and need a place I would check this site out at the Baxte5 County Fair Grounds. Not sure who you contact but the place was good for and event like a gun show. Also the people of Baxter County are some of the best folks you will ever have the pleasure of meeting and doing business with. They were friendly, honest and ready to do business. This really should be re-named the Baxter County Multi Function Event Grounds, they have so many different events happening regularly that it just amazes us all that they do host. Right now the Fair is happening and every building has exhibits, animals, arts & crafts, just a whole lot of fun stuff going on there. From Truck pulls to Rodeos to the circus, fairs, gun shows, the list goes on and on... Get out and make an event if you can, stretch the legs and get some fresh air, might just grab yourself some good comfort food along the...

This place is way over priced. The only good thing this past fair weekend was the FREE lawnmower races. The fair was not good. Don't get me started on the truck pull. We went two years in a row a while back and it never happened due to the track being a disaster. $50 bucks wasted. The fair was $7 per person just to get in and a lemonade was $7 bucks!!!
