I lived in Mtn. View before Walmart came to town. I think most of the town was excited as was I. It put a small nudge I suppose on the smaller businesses & family owned stores. I blv most of us still visited the smaller stores in town. You would always see a friend or more in town & have a short visit. I loved going to town w/my 3 little ones or my mom plus seeing Dad walking out of the Barbershop. Walmart here in MTV you will still see somebody UV known & have a laugh or share a memory. It's not a huge Supercenter but they go out of there way here to help you. The young & older (as I am also, older) workers are extremely helpful & very patient especially during this time w/COV2020. So, yes the ailes are narrow & they may be out of stock on items but I can truthfully say.. I don't recall having a bad experience shopping at WALMART. I've noticed in the reviews some have said some workers were rude or they don't have as many items as other Walmarts & that's probably true. Everybody has good days & some not as good. That's the way it is everywhere. Just remember they may have been on there feet at the checkout for hrs. Or maybe it's a personal problem, which all of us have had. Most workers will still put a smile on and honestly try to help your shopping experience. There fast and friendly. ...

After searching the very small section we have available to us I found a tree I wanted to purchase....it was 7.5 ft tall and 50 in diameter for 99$..... score....I had decided to buy this tree. It was the only one left. When I get to the register I'm told it was a black friday blitz item and they couldn't sell me it. What happened to consumer rights?... customer service?....The product was on the sales floor, with a price on it.....I was a Store Manager for 20 plus years, good customer service, would have sold me the tree at the marked price. I didnt wander into their storage and demand they sell me something from there. This was on the sales floor.....I called corporate who doesnt care about customer service....so I will no longer be spending one penny in wal mart in mountain view...the lady was rude and indignant and clearly not qualified for the job she has.....karen the store manager sold me that tree. We called and she sold it to us. Thanks Karen train your...
Read moreMy husband and son stop by to purchase their hunting tags this morning. My husband was born and raised in MO and is a veteran with 21 years of service and 100 % disabled and lives out of state. When he went to buy his tags he had to call me for our son’s social security number. There was 3 associates, 2 men and 1 women. They were arguing about whether my husband qualified for the residence tag which according to regulation he does. The 2 guys said he qualifies and that they would check he is a resident but the lady was determined to not sell my husband the tag! She was arguing with the 2 guys she worked with while my son and husband stood there. If you do not know the regulations call another Walmart what a disservice you have done to not do the right thing. Arguing in front of them with your coworkers is unprofessional. What a shame! If your position is to sell hunting tags then know the regulations. If your position is to not sell the tags then let the ones trained sell them. Do...
