Bistro fried rice — Restaurant in Mountain View

The BBQ place next door was closed, so I ended up here. I’m avoiding national chains while on a road trip.

Strange logic with their pricing. Tried to get a pint of fried rice. They usually sell a large portion for $15, so when I requested a pint, she said “half order” which I assumed would mean half the rice for half the cost.

It was still $13. It also took 15 minutes to make some friend rice, despite them being mostly empty.

Me and my girlfriend went here for dinner today for the first time so we ordered several dishes to try it out their servers were very friendly. There was only one other table besides ours and it took quite awhile to get our drinks and 45 min to get our food we ordered 3 dishes the curry was good however the bistro fried rice was very disappointing and the thai sweet basil dish my girlfriend ordered she didn't like and didn't eat it the thai tea was also overly sweet we asked for to go boxes and went somewhere else to eat dinner the 3 meals and two drinks were over $50 it definitely wasn't worth...

I just recently found out about this great Thai food restaurant closer to me in Willow Springs than having to drive all the way down to West Plains. I just did a search for lunch restaurants in Mountain View and was surprised to find this great place. My God, the portions are very well sized! I look forward to coming here again before moving to Springfield. I wish I knew about this establishment before my late wife passed away, we both love Thai food from L.A.
