I recently hosted my daughter's baby shower and had the pleasure of having food catered from Mazella’s Gourmet Market of Mountainside, NJ. The experience was fantastic from start to finish! The food was excellent - each dish was delicious with a distinct flavor. The catering order came with very good quantities, even with extra sauce to add if needed. Despite the quantities, the flavor was not sacrificed. The delivery was timely, and they also helped to set up all the food with the sterno racks and each food tray labeled clearly and nicely for convenience. The catering manager Michael Muller was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the food order selection, ensuring we had a good selection of dishes, and the right quantity based on the number of guests. This place is for real! Not just the incredible mozzarella, not just the chicken cutlet, not just the best Philly cheesesteak egg rolls (holy ** they’re good), but more than anything, the people who work there. We walked in tonight at 5:55pm. We recently discovered this place and forgot to look at when they closed. Seeing they were in process of closing, we apologized and started to head out. However, the ENTIRE team working wouldn’t have it. Everyone reassured us and insisted we place an order. We asked, “what’s easy?” They answered, “the entire menu!” They made our sandwiches with a smile and even carried our order to the checkout counter for us. Vinny may be the nicest guy I’ve ever met in NJ!

I went in person to order a large mini sandwich platter and a 12in stuffed bread platter for a gathering I had yesterday. The people were all kind. The delivery was timely. When the guests arrived and we opened the tray the sandwiches were not what I ordered. I ordered the Sicilian, grilled chicken, turkey, and roast beef. What I received was the breaded chicken sandwich and eggplant sandwich. The turkey and roast beef were correct. The guests still ate but it just would be nice to receive what I ordered. In the busyiness of it all I forgot to tip the delivery guy. I just called to see if I can get his name and get the tip money to him bc I felt terrible. It was our first time ordering from Mazzellas. I will give them a try again because sometimes...
