I had a large goldfish tank, but the wife said I was giving them to much attention, and she felt that they were coming in between us in our relationship. Ended up going to marriage counseling and our therapist told me I should get rid of the goldfish. Like most people would, I decided to throw them down the toilet drain. This however was not a good idea, and the fish accidently clogged my sewer line. Thankfully, I reached out to RIVO Inc! They were able to quickly cleanout the sewer line and did so at an amazingly affordable price. The plumber that helped me was named Jake and he is just an awesome dude. He told me about how he had been practicing the game UNO and claimed he was better than anyone on southside of Muscatine. Did not believe him so I challenged him to a match. Apparently, the workload was light that day and he said yes! He ended up destroying me in UNO! After hanging out for a bit he invited the other plumbers over and we had a ball. Played more uno together (jake kept winning), had a few matches of ping pong, and watched a documentary about Roman Empire. By the way, John can bake a mean gooseberry pie. I have had Rivo come to my house twice for the same thing. Both times all they did is snake the line and tell us that we had some gunk in the line and then a couple weeks later we have the same issue with water backing up in our basement. They have not given us a reason more than gunk in the line. I called them after the issue began again and they refused to come to my house because I hadn't paid them for the last time. I explained to the lady (bonnie) why I hadn't paid was because they had not fixed the issue and got the most attitude. Then to top it all off, she hung up on me instead of figuring out a solution. If I am paying you for a service more than once and it happens again a couple of weeks later, you have not fixed the issue and what am I paying you for?! It's a waste of my time and now I have to pay more money because my basement will need to be gutted because of the damage they told me was fixed. Will not be using Rivo ever again and highly recommend anyone else to go somewhere else or you will continue to pay them for issues...

Big shoutout to RIVO and MPW for assisting on literally diving headfirst into fixing multiple water leaks on one of our main lines leaving our pump house into the housing addition. This was a challenge as our water line drawings are hard to follow and we’ll have some shut off valves to fix in the future so between Darren, Garret and Jake they were able to excavate to where multiple leaks were located. RIVO was very prompt to respond and had the line locates completed within a short time along with working with MPW to secure some hardware that was only available in the Quad Cities to make the repairs while the water was still flowing. The job was completed quickly, professionally and safely using the proper procedure and tools to keep their workers protected.
