Golden Rule Thrift — Local services in Muskogee

I would never go back. When I walked through the door, a girl was sitting in the chair and asked to pet my service dog. I let her, and then looked up and the girl behind the counter came walk to me very fast. I was wondering what I did wrong. She started petting my dog. I tried to get through the two girls to look around and had to keep moving as the girls kept blocking to pet the dog. I finally excused myself and pulled away. Later, the counter girl came back walking back to me real fast trying to pet my dog and at one time said she would hold her till I finish. I told her I was finished. The prices were inconsistent, a vase cost 50 cents and one just about like it, it was 2$. The girls seem mentally challenged like my son, but they just wanted to pet the dog. Golden rule used to be a good place to shop, I know they help people that are disabled, but people come there and donate things, but what is not right they put big prices on the stuff, Muskogee area is a poor City, and people that go there don't have the money to buy things because they are too high there, the need to lower their prices, remember it's a place to take donations, I know they're taking care of other needs and situations, But they shouldn't be greedy about it, I've been going there years and years and it's gotten high over the years...

The pros are that the store is clean and tidy and the employeesare friendly. The cons is the pricing. The pricing at this thrift store is not good. I dont usually go for clothing so I don't know how it is for clothes, but the glass and household items do not make you feel like you got a bargain.
