There are good things and some not so good things about this theater. I have not been there in years. Since way before it was ever remodeled. Back when it used to smell like mold. It no longer smells like mold! And now it has stadium seating and every seat is a recliner. Very comfortable. But the parking lot looks even worse than it used to, very uneven and could use more lighting (both dangerous when you use a walker). What was even more disappointing, though, was I had just got off work and went straight to the theater for the 7 pm show and had no time to eat dinner so I purchased a hot dog, drink, and popcorn. Now mind you, I have to use a walker to get around. I had already paid for my food and the Clerk came back and told me that my hot dog wasn't ready so he was giving me one of those buzzer thingies and when my hot dog was done, it would light up and me (and my walker) could walk back to the concession area from theater #2 at the end of a very long hall, and claim my hot dog. It was a Thursday night (not a busy night) and the 7 pm show (not the first showing) so I'm not sure why the hot dogs weren't ready? So, I said, but won't the show have started? You can run, is what the young whipper snapper said to me. I looked at my walker & looked back at him. Not doing a lot of running these days, buddy. I really wasn't offended. He was just trying to be funny, not rude or hateful. But I do think it is ridiculous to expect a paying customer to have to leave a movie they have paid to see to get something that should have been ready to begin with. It's not like it was the weekend and they were swamped or I came out after all the shows had long started and they had run out of hot dogs. What they should have done was ask me what theater I was in and brought my hot dog to me or at least known they weren't ready when I ordered it and told me I would have to come get it, if I wanted to purchase one or choose something else . But, they did let me trade my hot dog (which was a little cheaper) for the nachos which were 50¢ more, I think? If they had been more on the ball, I could have just paid for the nachos but the Clerk did not know how to re-do the sale. So keep that in mind if you go to this theater. If the food item is not ready, you will have to leave the movie and come and get it at concessions when it is done and miss part of your show that you paid to see. And that the parking lot is a little dark & scary at night (and it is dark by 5:30 pm) if you are...
Read moreI feel like going to the movies just like getting robbed willingly nowadays anyways but to get an $8 pretzel be handed a dongle and told when this goes off your pretzels ready only to be an hour into your movie and it never go off and then when you get up there thinking maybe it's done and nobody rung the thing only to find out oh sorry they must have forgot not to ring it but to do with it all, so I said as nice as I possibly could after paying for an $8 pretzel that never showed if y'all didn't do it just give me a refund oh well sir it'll only take about a minute and 45 seconds okay... Stood there and waited then I get handed what looks like a nice piping hot pretzel in under 2 minutes..... So I made it an hour into my movie and what takes a minute and 45 seconds according to the girl and I start eating it thinking maybe they just cool down quick nope half of the bottom of the pretzel is still frozen well not quite Frozen but cold and soggy because the moisture trapped inside the top and everything just kind of running out the bottom...... Didn't even want another one made because why would I trust somebody to remake something whenever they were clearly upset when I asked for a refund if they didn't even bother to start it and despite my comment they want to hand me a half Frozen pretzel.... Thanks for the...
Read moreMuskogee, Oklahoma Apex Cinema: I attended 1:30 show time of Despicable Me 4. No snack boxes available for kids according to the young man behind the counter, yet there are empty snack boxes along the wall behind him. When questioned about this he could not even give a logical answer as to why I couldn’t purchase them. There were literally 30 empty snack boxes stacked behind the counter. The lobby is atrocious with staff members sitting in chairs along the window doing nothing to assist people or clean the sloppy, sticky counters!! The popcorn was stale and very chewy. The bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. Clearly from the picture attached that this dirt has been there more than a few days. Each stall in the bathroom smelled of urine so badly. I had to hold my nose and hover over the toilets. Additionally, the hallways and trash cans leading to the theater room were sticky with dried spilt drinks. I counted 6 staff members standing around doing nothing! Not only that, they weren’t even standing at the gateway to take tickets allowing anyone to just walk into the theater without a ticket. This is unacceptable for any business serving food and catering to the public. What a horrible experience! I will never come here again and will drive to the Warren in Broken Arrow and give...
