Shawnee Restaurant — Restaurant in Muskogee

Used to really enjoy going to this restaurant but the last couple months horrible they can’t never open on time. They see you at the door and they just look at you like you’re stupid. The last couple times I’ve went there. I have gotten there at 6:15 620 the cooks are doing stuff. The older woman is doing stuff. The young girl is sitting at the counter playing on her phone. Well, the older lady is busting her butt to get the store open not to mention her customer service when you’re in there isn’t the greatest you have to ask For refills on coffee or whatever Again showed up today sign says 6 o’clock here it is 630 almost and they look at you and can’t even give the courtesy to come to the door and say something they just checked the other door to make sure it’s locked. I ordered a burger. I've had them many times before and they were very good. The last time I went, the burger was not good. It was overcooked and the bun was soggy. I went back today hoping to get a great burger. The burger was served. The bottom bun was so soggy from wet lettuce and too much ketchup that it fell apart. The top bun was smashed flat. The beef was in several pieces and kept falling/sliding out. I brought it to the managers attention and she kept saying she just couldn't see the problem and she kept asking me if it was done. I went to the register to pay and told her this was the second time and that because the issue wasn't fully addressed I wouldn't be back. We were running errands in town and decided to try a random place to eat. We wanted breakfast and this place had good reviews, plus it was local. I won't lie though... when we pulled into the parking lot, we almost left because the building is very worn down and old. However we didn't want to judge a book by its cover so we gave it a try. All I can say is WOW! The food was great! There was an open kitchen and it appeared to be a crew of just 3 or 4 running the whole place. They did a great job - our drinks stayed full and the food came out piping hot. Everything tasted homemade and it really hit the spot. We had chicken fried steak and eggs!
