Just some of the facts: Sheriff Bass Reeves made Muskogee his home after he retired from Judge Parker. Girl Scout Cookies were first baked at a Muskogee High School. They were shipped to soldiers if not sold. Oklahoma's first Governor was fr Muskogee. Muskogee was originally spelled Muscogee. Learned a lot of unique historic facts about the Muskogee area, particularly James Ledbetter, Bass Reeves, and learning that muskogee was the birth place for girl scout cookies.
