The Break — Restaurant in Muskogee

Went in, started sitting down were getting ready to order and she says to put on a mask, there's actually a mask mandate now she says. No other customer has one, not one in the shop! they weren't eating. The mask would have been on for less than a minute before I had my drink. Its not only absolutely stupid, its no common sense at all and its rude. I wont be back. There's a way to handle things. Making someone put a mask on for 60 seconds is flat stupid if I can sit there for hours sipping a drink. Lets use some basic etiquette. And basic intelligence when working with people in a small town. Its no different than a restaurant. I come through Muskogee from time to time for work. I used to swing by The Break for coffee and a sandwich and really enjoyed it. I noticed they opened back up and was excited to go by.

Definitely new owners and a different experience. I’m not big on sweet drinks and asked for an iced coffee. It came up as an iced latte and had a lot of milk. I understand if you don’t have iced coffee at the ready but even an iced americano would’ve sufficed. Paid $6 for a solo cup to be filled up only 1/3 of the way - I guess because they said they were “strong” which everyone I brought disagreed - very yummy but not strong at all (and my mom actually got less) and the lady couldn’t even tell us what was in it and her reasoning was just, “my boss made it” - really just wish they had a menu and if they did I was never offered one.
