Car Depot — Local services in Myrtle Beach

I purchased a vehicle from the Car Depot in February . The next day the Car act like it didn't won't to crank. After several attempts it cranked up, then I noticed that it was a weird noise coming from the tires. I took the Car back to have it looked at. The mechanic said he didn't see what the problem was and not to take the car out of town because the noice from the tires were the cv joints or something like that. I even lefted the car over night with them thinking something will be done.Yeah, I thought that was crazy.I gave them all that down payment and to be making 300 some dollars car payment and I couldn't drive it out of town. I was told by Ms. Tammy to drive it a little longer to see what it do, I did. So like a month I was back and forth there and calling complaining about the on going problems. Sometimes I never received a call back .I went back in, I was told by Ms.Tammy that parts would be order and that they would fix but probaly would have to pay for the parts and to call back later in the week. When I did, I was told Tammy would call me back, that call never happen. No parts were order. I talk to another worker and he told me that they would fix the vehicles if there was a problem and to have him in my face telling me how much it would cost them to do this and that it kind of anger me. Now you lied to me from the start. I went back in asking for my money back. She told me, well you done put such and such miles on the car. Why tell me to take the car and drive it only to complain about the miles? That didn't even matter, they knew what was going on on day two. So they didn't fix the car and gave me the opportunity to pick another car off the lot. I did and I had to put 300 more dollars with it because it was a little more. I drove that bout a week and noticed it was leaking oil. I took that back and lefted it over night. The mechanic said he never saw oil leaking from where it was leaking at before.Got a call the next morning saying that he fixed it but had it running to make sure ir was good. They call rite back nit even 10 minutes saying it was still leaking oil and that the whole engine had to come out and it will be be in a week. After all the lies and promises that were told to me, I didn't trust that. They weren't going to fix it neither cause Ms.Tammy was too quick to have another worker to call me to say they will give me some of my money back. So that's where this bad and depressing journey ended.Even though I felt like I deserved all my money, I took back what they offered and I went to a more dependable place and got a dependable vehicle to drive. This is the first time I ever went thru something like this. It was bad..very bad. I appreciate them giving me my money back but I will never go back to this place and I would not send nobody to this place after what I experience. They do...

I BOUGHT A VEHICLE THROUGH CAR DEPOT MONTHS BACK AND FELL INTO A TERRIBLE FINANCIAL SITUATION A FEW MONTHS LATER, LOSING MY HOME AND EVENTUALLY HAVING MY CAR REPOED. CAR DEPOT SENT TWO MEN FROM ACCURATE TOWING TO MY HOUSE, AND BOTH MEN FROM THE TOW TRUCK PROCEEDED TO CAUSE A SCENE AND PHYSICALLY ASSAULT MY SISTER AND I BOTH. WE BOTH HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET CHECKED OUT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED IN SUCH A WAY IN MY LIFE. WE CALLED THE POLICE THAT NIGHT, AND I PROCEEDED TO TRY TO TALK TO TAMMY AT The Car Depot of Myrtle Beach THE NEXT MORNING OVER THE PHONE. THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME IVE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO GET HER ON THE PHONE WITHOUT SOMEONE GIVING ME AN EXCUSE WHY I COULDNT TALK TO HER. I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND SHE TRIED TO REASSURE ME THEY DONT CONDUCT BUSINESS THAT WAY AND SHE WAS GOING TO REACH OUT TO THE TOWING COMPANY AND CALL ME BACK BY LUNCH. THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO. MUST BE A REALLY REALLY LONG LUNCH. IVE TRIED CALLING HER BACK SINCE THEN, AND EVERYONE THAT ANSWERS TELL ME SHELL CALL ME BACK. SHE DOESNT. SHE HASNT EVEN TRIED. SO NOW IM JUST THROWING IT OUT THERE THAT APPARENTLY THIS IS HOW THEY CONDUCT BUSINESS AND THEY DONT CARE THAT THEY HAVE TOW DRIVERS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTING THEIR CUSTOMERS. ITS TRULY A SHAME. FUNNY THEY CANT CALL ME BACK, BUT THEY CAN KEEP TRYING TO CHARGE MY CARD EVERY WEEK FOR A VEHICLE THEY HAVE. THIS MAY NOT SEEM LIKE A LOT TO SOME OF YOU, BUT TO HAVE A MAN 3 TIMES THE SIZE OF ME BRUISE ALL OF MY RIBS ON THE LEFT SIDE, ANOTHER MAN PULL MY SISTER TO THE GROUND AND HURT HER ARM AS HE RIPS KEYS OUT OF HER HAND...ITS JUST NOT OKAY. EVERYTHING WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA TO EVEN SHOW THEY WERENT PROVOKED IN ANYWAY TO SHOW UP AND ACT THE WAY THEY DID. AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED, NEITHER THE CAR DEPOT OR ACCURATE TOWING ARE PROFESSIONAL OR TREATING THIS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. I AM PUSHING TO PURSUE THIS MATTER SINCE NO ONE WANTED TO WORK THINGS OUT, BECAUSE ID TRULY HATE TO SEE THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE.

BEFORE YOU BUY, PLEASE BEWARE! ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY PUT YOU ON THE TOW LIST AFTER ONE MISSED PAYMENT (ONE WEEK) AND WHEN THEY DO TAKE YOUR CAR THEY CHARGE YOU $500 FOR THE COST OF THE TOW PLUS WHATEVER YOU OWE TO EVEN GET YOUR VEHICLE BACK.

First and foremost don’t judge me because I am talk texting. This is a lot to write. I first got introduced to Car Depot 20 or more years ago when I first met bud one of the first cars they pulled on their lot was a 1989 cutlass supreme that was my first car that I purchased on my own and one of the first of many great cars they had pulled on there lot when they first opened up That’s when I first met bud. I later met Ann and Tammy, vice and Richie and then as I’ve gotten older and years have grown, I later got to meet the wonderful Vanessa who I’ve always stayed in contact with and see every time I go and purchase a vehicle later after that I met June and now April I don’t know if we’re limited on the amount of words that we can use, but this is an amazing bunch of people at the Car Depot so if you’re looking for honesty, which is crazy at a used car lot, but Car Depot is where you wanna be if you’re looking for a reliable car that is used Car Depot is where you wanna be if you’re looking for first-time cars for your children and their safety Car Depot is where you wanna be not only are they honest, but their family oriented which means they’re not gonna put your family in harms way.
