What a horrible experience. I saw Dr. Limbarty in April, it was my first time going to this clinic. I went for a routine physical. My visit was a joke she didn't have good bed side manner at all was rude and everything I asked her about she said I needed to talk to another doctor and she would put in for a referral. She didn't explain anything or try to help me understand what was going on. I just received a bill in the mail they won't code my visit as a physical saying it was establishing care and my insurance doesn't cover. I went in for a physical and now I am stuck with a bill because the clinic doesn't say it was a physical. I called them to see what they billed for and the the receptionist was very rude and transfered me ( I knew needed to happen was upset about it). Finally talked to billing the had the coders look at it again, it she called me back a few hours later said there wasn't much they could do but took a little off the bill the doctors office needed to change it to a physical. They refuse to change it to a physical. The staff are rude and very unpleasant to deal with. I would not recommend anyone to go here. My visit was terrible the staff and rude and they don't communicate what you...
Read moreI was at the clinic at 8 am when it opened for blood work for pre op. I have been told if you are there before 9:15 am to get your blood work done the currier will take it to Coos Bay that morning. My blood work was not taken that morning. I call my Doctor and was told they didn't receive it. This bloodwork was extremely important. I am on blood thinners and had started Lovenox shots for surgery. My Doctor was trying to keep a close eye on it. Since this happened on Friday I won't know what my blood levels are until surgery on Monday. If I can't have surgery because of this I will be extremely upset. I have been having my blood draws done at Myrtle Point for months. This is the last time I will ever go to the Myrtle...
Read moreI was a patient at a provider in Myrtle Point, OR until today. I have multiple autoimmune conditions and request certain labs annually to manage my health. Despite this, my request was refused because they had their own opinions about what was necessary. It’s my body, my health, and I’m the one paying—so why should that be an issue? It feels like the medical system would rather keep patients unwell to generate more money, instead of truly advocating for their well-being. Having spent 24 years working in healthcare myself, it’s disheartening to see how much things have changed. Today’s medical world feels like a very different—and frankly,...
