Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Nacogdoches

My wife and I went to the new Tractor Supply in Nacogdoches. What a disappointment. There was more space than the old store, but the selection doesn't appear to be any different. We both used the restrooms. Neither had toilet paper and the seat had been torn off the toilet in the men's room and according to one of the employees it had been that way since the store opening several weeks before. The aggravating part of our visit was finding out that items were mismarked. We bought Blue Buffalo at a higher price because the shelf it was on was labeled with a $15 gift certificate which made the price at least comparable to Atwoods. We also bought two kids toys because they were labeled buy one get the second half price which amounted to $5.00 off. When we checked out we were told that these items were mismarked, which they clearly weren't. Rather than argue or just walk off and leave the items at the register, we went ahead and paid. The amount that we ended up overpaying was $20.00 on a $118.00 purchase. I have been a tractor Supply customer over 25 years, but this is my last visit to Tractor Supply in...

bought a propane tank from yall's store and no one told him that a almost 65 dollar tank that he paid for didn't come with propane until we where in our car and backing out of the parking stall and then the employee proceeded to tell us that if we wanted propane in the tank we would have to pay more so we ended up paying another $13.60 for propane to be put in this tank if that is your policy you need to state that when purchasing a tank not after when the customer is already bought a tank they thought was full because everywhere else in town so full propane tanks not empty ones for that price I am completely unsatisfied with your customer service at the store I will not be going back and I will tell everybody in nacogdoches about how your employees treat your customers. In all my years of life have I ever paid 65 dollars for an empty propane tank propane companies don't even sell people empty tanks for that price...

So, my puppies needed food...Running short on time, I pulled up to Tractor Supply, and quickly grabbed a bag of higher-end dog food. I had 7 minutes to finish up before they closed for the evening. I got to the counter, and sure enough, I couldn't find my debit card! 😖 I panicked, then a part-time employee, named Daniel Miller, who couldn't have been older than 20, grabs his wallet and says "Don't worry, Sir... I've got it, it's just dog food." "Lol no, my friend, let me go look for the card.” I replied. I found the card & paid for the food, then asked for the young man's name and his supervisor's.
