UPDATE: Interesting....I went to check my review on Google and it wasn't available to view. Not sure how that happens but this particular review could be very important to someone looking to buy from these people.

7/2023 Well, we've had our RV for a little over a month now. Time for a review...

Sales team was exceptional. Matthew was very friendly and welcoming. The woman with the immobilizer on her foot, I can't remember her name, was super sweet and accommodating. This is where the great experience stops.

The finance lady, Samantha, was HORRIBLE!!! She was rude and did not like, at all, the fact that we brought cash for our purchase. Began to berate me on how she didn't think it was safe and that she didn't want to have to count it. She also tried to have us arrive a half hour early to our appointment just to have us sit in the waiting room for an hour while she ate lunch. She really shouldn't be working with people, she doesn't have the skills for it.

Now on to the service department... These guys are under-skilled at best and incompetent at worst. We signed the deal to purchase a week before picking the unit up. During this week they were supposed to go through the unit and fix anything that came up. We were specifically told they pressurized the water system to check for leaks... When we arrived they were scrambling to fix the leveling jacks, so much so, that they missed the water leaks that I noticed just in the walk through. Now normally, stuff like this wouldn't be that big of a deal, just fix them.... However we told them before signing that we are full time in our RV and were assured that the new unit would be ready to move into. It was not...

This is where the sales team shined. They set us up for the night, which sounds great to most, but we don't do hotels. That's why we have an RV.

The things the service team missed after the fact that I had to fix were a leaky skylight, excessive amount of water damage on the inside, a noisy heat pump (that the service team didn't even know about), and a gas regulator. I tried to call to see if we could take advantage of the 30 day warranty and that was a joke. They expected us to drive 6 hours back to them... The ones that missed all the the first time (sorry, no confidence you'd fix it right the 3rd time). When I asked if they'd just send a mobile tech they suggested I pay up front and if it was something they felt they'd cover I'd get reimbursed. Ha!

After all this, the main headquarters that deals with the titling, was a total nightmare. It took us almost a week and several unpleasant phonecalls to figure out exactly where the title was sent to. If you don't finance prepare yourself for this to also be a fiasco.

So with all this, I highly recommend the sales staff, but would strongly suggest not going here for service and be prepared to find stuff wrong...

We first learned about Bretz at an RV show they put on at the village. It was the first show we went to where we weren't followed around by a sales person. You're allowed to just wander and explore the trailers. There is always someone waiting to answer questions but they aren't actively trying to sell. Sounds counter intuitive but I think they know how to spot the looky loos like us and just let the whole RV thing simmer until we're ready. Or maybe I'm projecting, but that was our experience at each show. And we went to each one over the last 2 years. These shows ultimately lead to us visiting Bretz and buying our first travel trailer. Over the last 2 years we had gone back and forth on getting an RV. Our big hurdle was storage but 2nd to that was size. Family of 5 + dog fills out a trailer pretty fast. This meant we wanted something big, but not too big because my tow vehicle is only a half ton. Brian met us and read our minds. Showed us exactly what would meet our needs within our budget. The trailer we bought was the first one we'd been in that really clicked. Well, clicked with my wife, but hey, that's all that matters. I'm not kidding when I say we've been in over a hundred trailers and RVs. The whole process was really smooth. No high pressure sales. Pickup came and the trailer was parked and ready. Be prepared for about 4 hours when you pickup, most of that is walking through everything about the trailer and learning to hitch up. This is a good thing. (Get a babysitter if you have kids). They also do a really good job making the trailer shiny, polishing the tires and vacuuming the beds. You'll also get a set of tupperware and we had a couple stuffies for the kids. Really great advice as well (we're new to actually owning a trailer vs looking at them). Braedan taught us everything we'd need to know and then some. Rob (?, sorry if I got that wrong) showed us how to hitch and work the brake controller. Literally my first time towing with my truck, super green. But the drive home was smooth. And about that storage hurdle, free storage for a year there. Seriously great experience. Like I said, we'd been through a lot or RVs and several dealers and shows. Bretz is hands down the best. We named the...

I would like to send kudos to the staff at Bretz RV and Marine, we had a great buying experience this week and were quite impressed. This was not our first buying experience from Bretz, but it was our first boat.

On Monday we went to look at a used boat for family outings, we had a specific boat in mind but Tucker, our salesman, showed us another boat that hadn’t been listed on their website, and what a great idea that was. We purchased a beautiful boat, but what happened next is what I found most impressive and why I’m writing this review. As a first time boat owner we were told that we could take the boat on the water and test drive it with a member of the team, when we got to the lake we were met by three outfitters, our salesman Tucker, as well as Matthew and Dennis who are both outfitters and quite knowledgeable about boats. Matthew walked me through backing down, loading and unloading the boat, while Dennis coached my wife on how to drive the boat off the trailer and then back on after we were done with our ride. They also gave us a few boating etiquette pointers. What an amazing option that was for us to take advantage of, and what a great group of guys you have representing your store and company. We got little tidbits of knowledge that we wouldn’t have known otherwise they helped us figure out the switches and gears and gave expertise that only experienced boat owners could share. Thank you to the team at Bretz, and a big thank you to Tucker, Matthew and Dennis for taking the time to show us the ropes and share your experiences and expertise. I would highly recommend Bretz to anyone in the market to purchase a boat or RV, and if you’re a first time boat owner I would highly recommend...
