Crosswynds Traders — Local services in Narragansett

Regret having to give a negative review to a local business, but have been stopping in at Crosswynds over the years because I’ve always appreciated finding some fun clothes and a recent purchase felt pretty deceitful.

Found a pair of shorts with a fun pattern to them, with brand label black heat-taped over which isn’t what I normally see - but thought nothing of because Crosswynds has always had decent brands. Purchased the shorts for almost $30 feeling happy to support a local business. Afterwards out of curiosity peeled off the heat-tape to see who made the shorts.

I stopped by the other night with my friend who had spoken highly of the store. I really liked it! Super cute inside, great selection, and good sale prices. While some of the items were a little pricy for me, I stuck to the $14 crop top bin and shorts display and found that those prices were very good. Many name brands, which I was pleasantly surprised to see. I ended up purchasing 2 pairs of Levi shorts for $24 each and 2 crop tops for $14 each. I wanted to leave a review because Chris from Crosswynds really went above and beyond in an environment where you don't see that very often. I ordered a hat and overlooked the delivery portion, which meant I would have needed to pick it up at the store.
