While the complex is visually beautiful & there is security at night sitting in a marked car on his phone (not patrolling) in the front entrance, please beware of millipedes that come inside your apt day & night & are everywhere when you walk outside. You pay for pest control & they do try but it doesn’t make it stop. The pkg room is a disaster, lacking cleanliness & organization & is loud w constant beeping & loud clicking. The hallways are also littered with waste, sticky substances from leaking trash, walls have spiders & cobwebs so walking into your apt is quite filthy. They need to be pressure washed & blown w a leaf blower regularly. They do not allow your valet trashcan to sit by your door (you have to bring it in & out daily) so people sit dog feces on the floors near their doors. The parking situation for the front buildings is ridiculous, there doesn’t begin to be ample parking for the leased residents! Employees (who should park the furthest away from an entrance) take several of the front spaces & they have way too many handicap spaces & I’ve never seen any handicapped residents using them so they are sitting empty. We also have people w multiple cars/motorcycles, several guests/friends/late night hookups/squatters staying NOT PAYING $2400/month rent (that’s a lot to pay without parking privileges) who take the limited spots & using long sticks & boards to wave themselves into our buildings or propping the security doors open. I have even seen Lyft/Uber Eats drivers loitering in our parking spots, cars running, listening to music just waiting for their next job to be assigned. Any normal complex would have stickers on vehicles indicating proper identification or assigned numbered spaces to avoid this but when we’ve asked, we are ignored. Instead, they have recently imposed a fine for anyone using any empty spots making it impossible! Anyone not actually living there should park in the very back parking lot, not force the actual paying residents to. We have 2 entrances into the complex but only one is utilized as the other is blocked w a chained gate. Do not choose an apt near the pickleball court, it’s loud & they play late at night making it impossible for a person who regularly has a 2am alarm for work to sleep at all. Also, choose an apt on the top floor unless you want to hear a herd of elephants above you 24/7 (men wearing boots/kids/dogs running & jumping) & never get any sleep. Also beware of very loud people above your apt sitting on their balcony speaking loudly into their speakerphone smoking weed all day & night. The apt managers are very kind but do not take concerns seriously. Also, maintenance has ignored the unfinished holes in my ceilings, spattered grout in shower & on my bathroom floors & unattached granite counter support. FOR THESE REASONS, I hesitate to recommend Alta & would not...
Read moreIf you are looking for a new home let me inform you of what’s been going on. Last Sunday we had 16 car break-ins with 5 or 6 people jumping out of one car. I lived here for 6 months and 4 months into living here some random guy was lingering in front of my window screaming and putting random stuff in his car, He then went up to my camera yelling at it and knocked it down. I reported it and went to the office about it and they said they were looking for security saying we will have it and there hasn’t been any security here at all since that happened. Not long after that I was walking back to my apartment and a man was sitting in his car with it off staring at me. A few weeks ago my friend’s license plate got stolen off of her car. I’ve had multiple packages stolen. A random car has been sitting in the parking lot with someone living in it for a whole week. Greystar if you read this since you are hard to get in touch with… we need more than security because after sunday’s incident that won’t be enough… we need cameras in the parking lot, a gate to secure the complex so no one is just coming here doing sketchy things, a more secure package room because the door still doesn’t lock. I feel so unsafe here I am scared to walk my dog. So if you are looking to live here I don’t recommend and will not be living here another year unless something is done. The staff here is so sweet and I love all of them. The apartments and amenities here are amazing, but to me safety is a #1 thing especially a place...
Read moreI moved in July and the process of just moving in was a bit of a nightmare. Not accommodating in the slightest. Ashton by far has been the kindest employee, I truly only want to deal with things through her. The mailroom was broken into multiple times, packages stolen, trash constantly left all over near my building. Many times the trash valet hasn’t shown up to pick up trash and when they do it’s often times in the middle of the night banging loudly up and down all the stairs waking everyone up. Dog poop is all over the place and dog park is full of poopy mulch and very unkept. The dog spa area is constantly locked and dirty, recently found a ton of mold growing in the ceiling… Amenities are nice if they can get everything working properly. I was very excited about this place and location and oftentimes get sparks of hope but Sunday we just had 15 car break ins. 6 males got out of a vehicle smashing car windows and stealing things all over the complex. A couple months ago I was walking my dog and two men in a mask were in the parking lot! They have no working security cameras and often times have strange people lurking around! If they can get this place running efficiently and security, I’d stay. But definitely leaning on not...
