Our family has not been going here very long. We recently got into pottery and found Mid South. We typically go in on the weekends, due to work, and Denise and Carrie have been so friendly and inviting. They have made us feel so welcome and excepted our beginners pottery and kindly gave us extremely helpful advice for our next batch. We have purchased a Shimpo Lite and Aspire from Mid South, plus their glazes, clay and some tools. Every shopping experience has been a pleasant one. Our most exciting time here was having our pieces fired. When we picked up our glaze fired pieces, it was like seeing a new gift you weren't expecting. The staff was even excited to see the pieces. So much fun! They are also very accepting of children and have a lovely fish pool for the children to view and a dog, if you're there on the right day. Read moreI came down 2hrs for some business and decided to stop in and get some glaze supplies. Even though the REALLY prefer you cal 24hrs in advance (I didn’t know this at the time) for technical orders they were decently happy to accommodate and even let me tour their kilns.
