The facilities are very nice and well maintained. However, the police appear to be allowing the grounds to become a homeless encampment. When arriving in the morning there are a minimum of 5 people sleeping in their cars or out on the grass. This has led to a number of awkward interactions with homeless approaching me when I’m exercising my young son. These unfortunate people should be directed to the appropriate mission so as to prevent the area from becoming less welcoming to Madison residents. This center, along with the Peeler Park greenway, could be a major source of pride to our community if we take care of the grounds and set the expectation that they be used...

Read moreI took my 4 year old here and she loved the park. The playground has an area for toddlers and another one for 5-12 year olds. There are at least four kid swings and two toddler swings. There's also plenty of green space for sports and two basketball hoops.
