My family and I recently visited this bowling alley. While she offered us the “special” she encouraged us to select the one hour for 8 people in our party. It had been awhile since I bowled but I agreed. The clerk, Pam assigned us lanes 9 and 10. Also immediately, lane 10 began to malfunction. I approached her desk and notified her, she made request to repair on her loud speaker. We resume our game however, the same thing happened again. I approached her counter again to inform her, once again, she made a call. The lane broke down again, I waited for Pam to service other customers to inform her again about the issues we were having. After realizing it would be quite sometime before she finished up, I approached the shoe counter. I told him it had broke down again. He said nastily, “What’s wrong with it?? Seems like she got it working.” I turned around and it did appear as if my relative had somehow got it working again. Shortly after returning to my party, the lane broke down again. I approached the counter again, Pam called over the speaker. We waited while someone in the back attempted to repair the issue. It was obvious that lane 10 was beyond a quick fix and was just “out-of-order for the night. The shoe clerk came over and asked us to move to lanes 11 & 12 and told us that Pam added our lost time back to our game. Shortly, our game ended. We went over to ask about the added time. Pam advises that she accommodated ya by giving and an extra 5 minutes for each lane. We considered purchasing more time but we thought about her conversation prior to playing and felt as if our experience was quite intentional from discouraging us from purchasing the 2 hour special, advising that if we needed more time to just come back to the counter, to assigning us the faulty lanes, 3 services calls vs. moving us immediately, and then to only add 5 minutes to our time. I approached her counter again and voiced my dissatisfaction with our experience. Pam basically shoulder shrugged it off by saying, “I thought you only lost 5 minutes because that is how long I watched you.” “You act like it was intentional (mind you, I never said or suggestion any like to her).” “Well, I apologize!” They only things she was able to offer was five minutes of defensiveness, poor excuses, and...
Read moreThis establishment has so much Potiential considering there are not many places in this area for the entire family to have a great time with a variety of activities and food. But As another customer mentioned in a review, the employee could use a lot more training in customer service and I will add CLEANLINESS My family went out on a Saturday night for family night and decided to come here. First, It is not a secret that we are living in a pandemic due for the still alive and thriving COVID-19 virus. This place did not have a single PPE insight/available to staff nor customers. The restrooms were out of soap, the Arcade nor bowling lane had sanitizer dispensers/wipes nor did I see one staff member wiping down the games or counters. There were a ton of customers and employee that were not wearing mask. The service was bad and there were broken arcade games. Next, after waiting 2 hours the bowling allies were not social distancing appropriately. My family of 3 was seating with a party of 8+ (Strangers). They were coughing/sneezing and licking there fingers (order finger foods) while sharing bowling balls with us. (Cringe) Our bowling lane had a power outage and our server was kind, but had no idea what she was doing. We spent a couple hundred dollars and had less the...
Read moreTerrible! I'd give no stars if I could!! For my sons 7th birthday last weekend me,my husband and our 3 kids went here. I had 3 balloons and some cupcakes. As soon as we walked in, I didn't get a good vibe. Not clean by any means necessary. Very dim lighting. And the people there (workers and guests) were not friendly at all!! Well, we walked up to the counter and as soon as the man saw that I had cupcakes he said there was going to be an extra $15 charge (on top of what we would have to already pay to bowl) just to eat a cupcake! How crazy! No signs posted anywhere said that. I could understand if in had brought in pizza and drinks but just cupcakes? And honestly, they were just for my 3 kids. And so that my son could blow out his candles. I think the guy was wanting to pocket the money. Needless to say we left and will NEVER be back! The Smyrna bowling alley is WAY better. Little bit of a drive(not bad) but WELL worth the gas, time & money! Also,we left there and went to a place called GO USA in Murfreesboro. I recommend this place to everyone! Not only did our kids have a blast (ages 2-7) but my husband and I did as well!! So please, Do NOT waste your time OR money on tusculum strike & spare...
