I’ve been coming here for almost four years now. In that time it was Classic Lanes, now Rolling Thunder Lanes. Very nice manager, Bill, whom I’m always happy to see and Jeremy are the two consistent friendly faces that have helped me out with everything from food and drinks to a stuck ball. The facility is always clean and the temperature is consistently pleasant. Well lit and overall great atmosphere! No smoking allowed is also a plus. Also want to give a shout-out to the owner! He really went above and beyond for me the other week when the ball return chewed up my custom ball! Sent it out to be cleaned and polished free of charge!! I’ve worked in a lot of customer service positions in my life and always appreciate it and recognize when someone else really shines at helping me or others out. So thank you! Other than that, so happy that the parking lot was fixed and refinished within the last year and always look forward to purchasing my summer pass here! Keep up the excellent work as I always enjoy my time practicing and unwinding here. Very satisfied and...
Read moreI typically bowl in Oshkosh at Rev’s. I was hanging with a small group of buddies and we adventured to this alley. Pricing was fair. It took over an hour and a half on a non busy foot traffic time to get a pizza delivered to our lane. The pizza was not even cooked through all the way or cut well at all. The two gentlemen working did try their best but it was a disservice to to the unproper training of customer service and cook knowledge to efficiently provide us our order. The drinks as well took the same amount of time. The lanes were nice. Our machine did not compute the scores correctly and the software was very slow. The lanes must have been used a lot due to the fact there was no oil. Still a decent time. I just wish there was more respect and follow through. COVID has not made business logistics an easy task; but this was very undercut despite the low traffic volume since we did go...
Read moreI would give this place 4.5 stars. I do not go bowling often. It seemed like the lanes were good quality. We did not have any problems with the pins resetting or balls not returning like other places. Another good thing about this place, the bumpers could be assigned to particular bowlers in the same lane. Just ask the person working at the desk. The prices were good also. Check their website for a price list. They also have day time hours. Like many places the staff was low. One person was working on a Wednesday afternoon. There were maybe 12 lanes of bowlers. He was busy and not behind the counter from time to time. People were waiting for drinks. A regular customer called his name and he was able to get back to the counter soon after. I think he was helping in the kitchen. We did not order food or drinks.
It is an older place so it was dark compared to newer bowling alleys. That is to...
