Trailside Vintage — Local services in Nehalem

A friend and I were on our way to the coast from Portland, when we pulled over to double-check our directions. We happened to spot Trailside Vintage, from the side of the road, and we were inspired to go inside. Oh am I glad we did! Carolyn, the shop owner, was so lovely and welcoming. Wondeful store, featuring vintage items but also handcrafted bags and pot holders that are truly unique. Everything is reasonably prices, which makes this store the best place for gifts shopping. Carolyn, the owner, is an amazing conversationalist. I went back to the store the next day just to chat with her again, and look for few more bargains, of course. She definitely has a great taste for things old and new, and is a good connoseur of the community...

Best thrift store I've seen around! Carolynn (the owner) is a fantastic host and has a lot of stories to share. We probably spent 3 hours inside chatting and checking out vintage stuff as well as Japanese kimonos! Will come back soon just to spend some quality time...
