Terrible experience with salesperson Omar. Arrived at store with phone that I purchased from MetroPCS right before shutdown in March that was already not taking charge (defunct phone). Sales rep didn't even try to explore repair options because his only competency is aggressive selling of new product and even that is marginal. I told him I was already late for work and desperately needed a working phone but had a short window for getting out the door. Omar assured me that I would be out in 15 min including loading my work email. 15 minutes later he wasn't even done with the sale never mind activation. An hour and half later I was getting texts every 5 min from Boss because I was so late and was leaving store with no email service and an incorrectly installed protective glass. For 90 minutes, Omar was inattentive to the problem, kept trying the same thing over and over again as if it would somehow magically work on a 10th try, rather than think of a new option. He demonstrated extremely limited tech skillmanship and knowledge. He even loudly suggested that I was at fault and that a password I use every day was wrong. He claimed over and over again that he was the best and this was my fault. The really sad thing is that I am a senior citizen with NO tech expertise and was able to figure it out MYSELF with a single Google search what he could not. Truly the single worst retail misrepresentation and customer service experience I have had in a decade. I am still left with a phone that is hard to answer (bad protective film install) and a terrible impression of a company that I once held in high regard.
I seriously suggest going to a different Metro store if you need to do anything more complicated than pay a bill.

Alondra was transferring some info from my former phone and at the same time an employee from another location called and needed her help which she received from Alondra. While the employee on the phone was testing something a customer walked in and had an issue with his phone Alondra helped him while my phone was still transferring and while Alondra in between was still helping the Metro employee at a different location.
