Took car here ONLY cause it needed warranty work. Otherwise I use New Castle Auto Repair or Flynns they are thorough and honest. And affordable!!!
Got a joke of an inspection. Never checked a single tire all were at 30psi or under and indicated on the dash they needed air. One tire was very low. It is flat today and needs a repair. I also received an alignment report from them. IT FAILED!!!!! No one offered me an alignment to fix the safety issue.
I now am scheduled at a reputable place to do my alignment and tire repair. Oh and its half the price.
Preston did offer me a new appointment so I can go waste my time and money. I feel they should have offered to repair the tire and ate the 55 cost! Then possibly i would have scheduled the alignment they should have done yesterday and paid them for it!
They missed out on more $ and have lost a customer. BEWARE if a dealer service center isn't checking tire pressures what are they actually doing 🤔 Spoke to Greg the service manager. He's aware cause I've spoken to him at least 3 times previously! This place is a JOKE! Do not buy or service here!
☆☆☆☆ update! I've got the run around all day now one wants to resolve the issues just called again. Now calling chevy directly to report this dealer. I have no response from owner or GM they are not available. I've left messages email and phone number. They know how to reach me.
☆☆☆☆ Update spoke to GM and he was not nice at all. Not professional at all but did eventually apologize for service. He was so rude I excused my self wished him a nice day and hung up. He was mad I left a bad review after being treated poorly yesterday and blown off. I am the customer I did not make the mistakes. I dod not cause this bad review. I do not want free service I want complete service! I want a safe car I deserve that! This is not over a $55 tire repair. This is over an failed alignment and a passed inspected car that has to have service on Friday again!!! I will gladly pay to have a safe vehicle. To insult an unhappy customer was in perfect Preston style.
To clarify I have given them several chances this was the last chance. They have performed previously an inspection an oil change and attempted warranty work but only ever fixed a horn no other issues resolved. Assured each time that they are aware of tge mistakes and they wont happen again. Thats when I decided only to return for warranty work. Ill drive to a different dealer from now on. No more chevys!!!
The owner can feel free to contact me. No one would give me his information for direct contact. I asked for an email or phone voice mail yesterday. We could have avoided this all together and resolved some issues before i called chevy directly.
Bottom line im still unhappy, the car is not fixed and I have to spend more time at a mechanic fixing it up right! But im the big bad meanie cause i...
Read morePurchased a used 2017 GMC Sierra from them on 7/19/19 (2 months ago). Currently I have been without a truck for 2 weeks while it sits at another dealer for repair. Bought the truck with confidence because of a 3 month/3k mile powertrain warranty that was included. I have had multiple issues with the truck. First one being a leaking radiator, which Preston did replace after having to make several phone calls and they did provide a loaner vehicle (small 4 door buick, can't tow the boat with that!) That hassle asside, 3 of the tires leak air from the tire pressure sensors, which is of course not a powertrain item, but still notable. Then, over Labor day while vacationing at the beach, the check engine light comes on. I contacted Preston immediately (Grant Wilson via text) and was told "hopefully no big deal since the light is amber". Drive home and find the check engine light is on for a problem with modules not communicating with each other. Messaged this to Grant and was ignored. Less than a week later, the truck starts misfiring and a ticking sound is heard from under the hood. I find that a spark plug wire has corroded and fallen off of a coil pack. This has been causing high voltage from the coil pack to be shorted to ground as it arcs on the engine block. This high voltage is then frying every module using the engine and chasis as an electrical ground, causing a major reliability and safety issue. I contact Grant, who refers me to Greg (service manager) who refers me to Jamie (general manager). Remembering the hassle I had with the radiator and seeing how poorly I'm being treated, I call Jamie, with a tape recorder (perfectly within my right once I notify the other party) and voice my concerns that the coil pack is shorted and frying every module in the truck. He asks if I have AAA (which I don't) so I can save him some money and have it towed to a GM dealer close to me. No loaner vehicle was offered. My local GM dealer replaces the faulty spark plug wire and coil pack and confirms at least one module needs replaced. Now, with the strikes going on at GM, there is no ETA when the module will arrive from the parts warehouse! I call Jamie back again, same as last time, to discuss my truck that is still under their powertrain warranty and to get a loaner vehicle, and he hangs up on me. If you have to HIDE from the TRUTH and you can't stand behind your product for even 3 months or 3000 miles, you shouldn't be in business. If you're not looking over trade in vehicles good enough before you resell them to someone, thats unsafe. I'm 2 months into my purchase and I'm stuck with a 2017 GMC lawn ornament parked in some other GM dealers yard. I should've spent my money...
Read moreOne of the worst service experiences I have had. Brought my car in for an inspection. Was asked to bring it in a day early so if something needed fixed it could be done during the Saturday appointment. No problem. I bring it in. It needed a new front axel which they knew by Friday morning. Was not told they would not be fixing it during the Saturday appointment. Called Saturday to know when to pick up my car and was given the run around and eventually told it wouldn’t be done until Monday. Had to call Monday multiple times to see when it was going to be done and kept getting getting told later and later times. Finally after calling three times and getting set to voicemail each time I got through and was told they would call me back in 5 minutes while he ran and got the bill. Half an hour later I called again and got put on hold and eventually hung up on. Called back 10 minutes after that and finally got through to pay and have my car ready to pick up. Got it home and realized the back passenger tail light was never fixed but my car was passed for the inspection. Called them the next day ticked off and they said they would get it in the next day. Made another trip to drop the car off (we live half an hour away and went there because our truck is a Chevy and thought it would be easier to take it to a Chevy dealer). Called the next day saying it won’t be ready until the day after that because it’s a wiring issue. Had to ask for a loaner instead of them offering their “complementary” loaner car and somehow. They managed to lose my husbands and my phone numbers after being given them multiple times. We bought a brand new Chevy equinox from them and when we bring it in for service we are communicated with well and treated like royalty. We did not buy the truck from them and when we brought it in we are treated like red headed step children. I will not be buying another car from them and only will be taking my equinox in for service because I have to to keep my warranty valid. Once we are done with the equinox I will not be going back to them for...
