Allshouse Appliance — Local services in Neshannock Township

In my opinion, I cannot recommend this retailer for anything. I called an identified my needs. I was allegedly going to get a call back. Never happened.

I call a second time said, "Hey, remember me." After a long hold, they said they were going to send somebody. A younger guy came out, took measurements, but gave me no answers.

After several days, I called back again. I was asked who my salesman was and by that point I didn't remember. I told her about the measurements and was put on hold again. When she came back on the line, she indicated "your salesman will call you."

I finally received a call from, in my opinion, an extremely rude salesman. The guy wouldn't let me speak. He started running dimensions off as I repeated several times, "Hang on, let me get a pen." The he told me everything they wouldn't do while want to charge between two and three hundred in installation. The call ended.

Needless to say the are on my "do not shop" list. It's really hard for a local business to achieve this and we're new to the area....

Be extremely careful when purchasing appliances because this company ONLY services what they sell no matter how many other appliances you've purchased from them in the past. After purchasing a dish washer from them and was pleased with the item, I wanted a kitchen remodel and the contractor included the same brand of stove/oven as the dishwasher in the bid price. But because I could not prove that I or the contractor purchased the stove/oven from them, they wouldn't fix it. Keep that in mind when doing any remodeling and worrying about subsequent service. You might have to insist that the contractor buy the appliances from Allshouse because you can't depend on service from them otherwise, notwithstanding what the manufacturer might lead you to believe if you have a problem. I might add that when I asked what other place in our community could accommodate me for the repair if they didn't, the person said she didn't know. We made our first purchase at Allshouse Appliances last week. Our washing machine died over the holidays and we needed another one quickly. We tried several big box stores and all promised online to deliver in a few days but then did not have the items in stock and told me it would be weeks to get the washer. At Allshouse, the salesman was knowledgeable and helpful and not at all pushy. He answered our questions clearly and showed us the features of the washer. They were also able to deliver the washer in less than 48 hours, which we found very impressive. The two young men who made the delivery were efficient, honest, and hard working--and presented themselves in a clean and professional manner so that we did not worry at all about letting them into our home. We're planning to go back to Allshouse for the matching dryer and when our other aging appliances need replaced, Allshouse will definitely have our business!!
