Stopped in here looking for a particular style of Sausage. The gentleman behind the counter Eric was cordial, friendly & polite both on the phone & in person. The shop is pretty huge with a wine cellar in the downstairs, food & grocery items on the main floor and pots & kitchen items upstairs. Eric was kind enough to let me try a few items before I got a whole plate of various hot lunch items. He let me try the braised Portuguese goat, and chichuron. This year I tried ordering a skin on, bone in pork butt roast (pernil) from markets or butcher shops all over Cape Cod with no luck. I called The Butcher Shop and not only they were very friendly over the phone, they didn't even bat an eye or had to call back after checking with a distributor. I could get it anytime within a day or two. The roast was fresh from the farm and WOW it was the best ever!!! and I've been making them every year for Thanksgiving the last ten years.
