I absolutely love this place. Not only are the owners very welcoming but they are very nice. Over a year ago I went in with a custom piece I had made, and this piece was very meaningful and special to me. However I thought the bail on it looked cheaply made so I brought it here to have a new one made. They made me a beautiful bail and at an extremely reasonable price I was shocked. I expressed to them the secureness of the necklace was very important to me because of what it would be holding. The owner explained the chain I had purchased wasn’t one he would’ve recommended to me and he let me know that he’s be more worried about the chain breaking than my pendant falling off. I was a bit discouraged but appreciated his honesty, he showed me some of his chains and offered them to me at a discounted price. I explained that cause i just purchased one i didn’t have then funds to buy another one just yet. When i returned months later he honored his word and I walked out of there extremely happy with how my necklace ended up coming out in the end. This place is amazing and I won’t go anywhere else for my jewelry ( and i live over an hour away) I recommend it...

I was sent To See Tony over at Art and Gold in New Bedford, so right away I thought the place was a dive!!!! Boy was I wrong… I had some scrap gold and a few pieces of jewelry I’ve accumulated over the years, and Tony bought my stuff he gave me the best price, I never felt like he was trying to under cut me.. So then I had him melt down some jewelry and make me a custom Engagement ring(that appraised for$8900.00) it was absolutely amazing!!! This guy is the real deal, he knows his stuff, his shop is beautiful, you don’t even feel like your in New Bedford!!!🤣🤣. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about Tony and let’s not forget his wife who works there too, there a dream team!!!! This place sucks at repairs, take your precious jewelry somewhere else. I took my promise ring (sterling silver) to get resized, it came back with many of its diamonds missing, turned my finger green and a very clear line where the supposed “resizing was done” I got my golden ring cut off my finger and needed it to be bonded back together with the right size and I got it back and it broke at the same spot again, so I think okay I’ll take it back again and get it repaired, it broke again in the same spot, idk what they repair things with but it’s certainly not gold. I asked to get a refund and they say “being it back in person and we will see what we can do” it’s either get my money back or nothing at all, thanks to you guys my precious rings...
