Metro Pizza — Restaurant in New Bedford

I came in tonight and asked for my order, which was a large extra cheese pizza, the woman at the register said it's coming out. The guy in front of me went back outside to get his wallet, got his 3 topping pizza and was charged 16 bucks. The woman at the register then realized she charged him the price of my pizza and proceeded to charge me 21 dollars for a cheese pizza. I even asked it's 21 dollars for a cheese pizza, she then lied and said the price went up. So I just paid for it. My wife called them and asked how much the extra cheese pizza is, and she said 16. My wife then told her you just charged my husband 21 and then she continued to lie, saying the prices went up, just seconds after she just said it would be 16. They just lost a customer over not wanting to short her draw because she knew she had under charged the previous person. Pizza is excellent, but expect thin crust. Subs are great, though most of the meat is shredded. Makes for easy biting but can be sloppy. I've literally never had anything I didn't like from Metro and I've been eating food from there maybe a dozen times a year for the last fifteen years. They do things their way, if you have specific needs or wants, tell them. I've found their customer service to be fantastic. They have turned the grill back on for me on a few occasions. Also, their homemade brownies are killer, if you manage to show up while they still have some. Finally, I'm writing this twenty minutes before I place my order. I'll order from Metro as long as they're picking...

Called an order at 1:13 pm Wednesday and they told me 10 minutes when I called it in. Anyhow as soon as I walked in which was about 20 minutes and gave them my pick up #order they checked and told me it wasn’t ready yet. I waited til 1:45 and I went to desk and explained I’ve been waiting a while and the woman looked confused and checked above the oven and it was there all along 🤦‍♀️. The sandwich would’ve been for me I would’ve walked but since it was from my dad who was craving that sandwich I had no other choice but to stay!!
