I decided to stop and buy my lunch at stop and shop while I was out walking around the city, and was a bit disappointed. I bought some ready made chicken wings which were generally good but I was not a fan of the garlic parmesan and one of the others, but since I got a few of each, I'm not sure what the other flavor was that had an off taste. I also bought a quart of chobani sweet vanilla coffee which was marked down... While sitting outside, I found out why when I got near the bottom and it got chunky. I checked the date on it and it said October 24. Today is the 30th. They did let me return it and get my money back, but it didn't quite make up for having to chew my coffee. Read moreHad a crabby cashier when going through the 12 items or less, we had 2 boxes unopened of yogurt(24 total) and the lady complained that it was over 12 items and it shouldn't of been in the boxes still. I agree it was over 12 items but the gentleman that was stocking it gave it to us in the boxes and we also thought it would make it easier to ring in. But she was so rude about saying it, I didn't feel she should of said anything we tried making it easy there was only 2 registers open.the line for more than 12 was so long and we had just the yogurt, maybe she didn't want to do any work at all but the store itself should of had at least 1 more register open. It irks me to the "nth degree" that when I go early to get the items I need & get out quickly, there is 1 cashier open & the person has 4 people in line. & the customer in front of me has 300 items & I have 3, (self serve not yet open) & they refuse to open another register it just really pi** me off to no end. What's the purpose of going @ that time if I'm done shopping in 5 minutes but have to wait on line for a half hour.
