Extra Space Storage — Local services in New Berlin

I had a terrible experience with Extra Space in New Berlin. Our storage unit completely flooded due to a faulty roof, and several other units were affected as well. The manager called to inform us there was a “puddle of water” outside our unit, but when we arrived, we found water throughout the unit and significant damage to our belongings.

We gathered the waterlogged boxes, sealed them in a garbage bag, and placed the bag in an area of the facility marked “trash.” Shortly after, I received a call telling me that we were not allowed to leave trash there and that I had to take it home. I was also told the “trash” sign was left over from the building’s previous owner.

I have previously rented from Extra Storage Space in California and Florida, but nothing compares to Ed's exceptional customer service at this location. He was really helpful, proactively choosing a better storage area closer to the door for me, and handled all of the details to make my experience exceptional. He made certain that I received all of the discounts that he was permitted to offer, and he simply enhanced my overall experience. I recommend this place for many reasons: for the best customer service experience one can receive, for the greatest pricing I could discover (mine was 50% less than other options in the region), and also because the facility is spacious and easy to navigate. I have had to adjust my storage needs multiple times due to the growth of my business. . Every time I’ve had to make changes or add additional units Krystel Has done an outstanding job for me great customer service and very friendly . The facility is very clean..

My business has continued to and I’ve had to add several more units and every time I’ve added units they have worked with me to get them close to my existing units as possible they’ve been more than fair with any adjustments I’ve needed and today was no exception. I had to switch some units around and Andrew the new store manager at this location. Did a fantastic job. I’ll miss Krystal but welcome Andrew. Thanks for everything. I highly recommend...
