The Lowe's in startville tx, was the store i chose over the others In the area, until I took in my coin star slip to get the amount owed, 8 days after i had gotten it, And i was treated as if i was trying to steal from them, $8.30. The manager john said that the slips had to be cashed in the same day, after speaking with coinstar rep, I was informed they do not have an expiration date and it's up to each individual store that has the coinstar to set their rules regarding the cash vouchers there's nothing posted saying that you have to turn your voucher in the same day the day I got it the young lady that was working the counter was too busy working the register and I had an appointment at 8:30 at night that I needed to keep and she even questioned that as if I was lying to her I'm a 53-year-old woman working for myself I have never in my life been treated so unfairly by anybody to judge me like that was just wrong. To make me feel like I have done something wrong when in reality it was the funky little cashier with the bad attitude who caused the whole problem I will never spend another dime in that store. Fair warning you could be doing something as simple as cashing in your coinstar voucher and be treated as a common crook .. To the manager if you're going to set rules for your coinstar. Then you should post them by the coinstar otherwise don't expect people to just assume that's the way it is there is no expiration date on...
Read moreThe last 6 times I've gone there I've ended up with spoiled watermelon, brown apples that were mushy, expired powered marinades, bread & cheese that was moldy and I ate the money for it all ,but today took the cake I bought a 12 pack of soda when I got home and went to pull out the soda I noticed it damaged so I went back this time upset. By the time I left I was fuming because the so called supervisor or whatever title this lady had tried to say that it didn't leave the store that way insinuating I did, she even stated her employees don't put stuff on the shelves that are damaged when APPARENTLY THEY DO apparently this so called supervisor isn't doing her job if she thinks that. If a store is going to CHARGE REDICULOUS PRICES THEN AT LEAST GIVE QUALITY PRODUCTS & CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be doing my shopping at HEB for now on and if I need something in the moment I will get it from Dollar General and to the Lowe's Market Owner you might want to train your so called supervisor ( She has NO IDEA what CUSTOMER SERVICE entails). Read moreIF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS!! A lady who works there (I believe the manage) blonde hair with her roots grown out looks about 50 but acts like she’s 10. She was restocking cupcakes and I grabbed two infront of her. She had a Bluetooth speaker sitting on the shelf and my moved picked it up to move it so he could grab chips. SHE FLIPPED OUT. Yelling profanities like “eff you b**” “I’ll eff you up” I’m gonna kick your a” and so much more that it’s not even appropriate to type. Even her co workers were trying to calm her down. She called the cops on us and we waited patiently and explained our side. We told them to review the tapes but of course the manager said there is no cameras at that angle 🤨. The cop obviously knew the manager and the co workers were very embarrassed at her actions. They literally were holding her back while she was cussing at us as we were walking to check out. The cops couldn’t do anything because there is no videos tapes and even if there was they still would’ve seen how crazy she was acting.
